{Elise & David @ The Tampa Yacht Club}
David and Elise met while Elise was an exchange student from France studying here in Florida. The following semester, David was an exchange student in France:-) Before I had met David, Elise told me he was the nicest guy on earth and seriously, he really is the sweetest. They love each other so much it makes me smile just writing this. David wrote Elise a really sweet card and she wrote him one too. Elise had a little piece of David's great grandmother's wedding dress for her bouquet. The girls were in Navy and the boys in charcoal with navy ties. They saw each other for the first time on the staircase at the Tampa Yacht Club and we did some beautiful photos under the oak trees. Before the ceremony, Elise and David took part in a Chinese Tea Ceremony with Elise’s parents. This ancient Chinese tradition served as the groom’s symbolic introduction to his bride’s family. The ceremony was at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, and their little ring bearer decided to take a little detour to see his mom before walking down the aisle. After the ceremony we took the bridal party out to Bayshore Blvd and we happened to get some photos by the "giant slinky" as I like to call it. Cocktail hour was in the tent out back with patterned navy linens and an amazing floral center piece hung above the dance floor. Yellow and ivory florals with soft candlelight and uplighting set the ambiance for this romantic evening. Instead of a cake they had a French Croquembouche Cake, which was like lots of little puff pastries designed into a tall cake lit with sparklers when they cut it. Phase 5 made it an amazing party and before their guests left, there were little Macaroon favors waiting for them. This night was positively perfect for this beautiful and sweet couple! Congrats Elise and David! xoxoxo
