Tampa Marriott Water Street Wedding | Melissa & Daniel
7.11.20 what a great anniversary to have, I mean free slurpee’s on your anniversary every year? Melissa and Daniel had their socially distanced wedding at Sacred Heart and Tampa Marriott Water Street. Their original date was 4/25/20 and I have to say I think the celebration they had was even more meaningful than it would have been in April! Melissa had 2 gorgeous gowns, a princess ballgown for the ceremony and a lace one that is light and fun for the reception. There was bling all around, I mean shouldn’t there be? Daniel surprised Melissa with a diamond cross and a she surprised him with a gold bracelet. Let’s talk social distancing, Sacred Heart has very strict rules as they should. Everyone wore a mask and was seated separately, even Daniel wore a mask and had a tear as Melissa walked down the aisle! After the ceremony they did their exit in a cinderella carriage and we did their photos both right around the church, Le Meridian and of course the water front at the Marriott. We even did one on the same steps as they had a photo taken for prom! The ballroom holds 1200 people and they had the tables spaced out with less guests than usual at each one and also had a huge white dance floor. Since it was 7-11 they contacted the 7-11 and since they weren’t doing free slurpee day (of course thanks to Covid) but, 7-11 gave them a slurpee machine and all the swap for all their guests to enjoy!! We even may have had one:-) Their gorgeous cake by Artistic Whisk had just one layer real to cut and then sheet cakes in the back that the staff served. During the toasts, I learned from Melissa’s dad that their families have been friends forever and Melissa and Daniel actually have known each other since they were 2 years old. They started dating when Melissa was 15 and Daniel was 17. Literally, they are just the sweetest families you will ever meet! We even got to do some photos on a gorgeous yacht at the very end which was perfect!!! The entire team below was absolutely phenomenal. Linda and I wore masks for 10 hours and all the staff at the Marriott was masked and gloved as well. I think it honestly speaks to how extra awesome our wedding professionals here in Tampa are!!!
