Yacht Starship Tampa Wedding | Carolease & James

James is from Ohio and loves Ohio State so Carolease took his love for scarlet and grey and made that their color palette, he even had OSU cufflinks wedding band. You really can’t go wrong with roses they are timeless and beautiful. The funny part is some of their friends are from Michigan and one of his groomsmen had a little Michigan accessory surprise he threw in there. Both their groomsmen and bridesmaids were so sweet and fun, and clearly so happy for their best friends to get married! Carolease’s besties helped her get ready at the JW Marriott Water Street and then she did a first look with both her dad and her brother at the same time. First look with dad is a small detail but it can be such a memorable and even healing moment, I’ve seen it so many times and it’s always one of my personal favorite things to witness.

In true Florida fashion it poured in the middle of the day but thankfully the rain cleared and the sun came out just in time for Carolease and James to have their ceremony on the top deck of the Yacht. Those downtown views at sail are so Tampa, and so pretty! They saved their first look for when Carolease walked down the aisle and it was perfect. The storms earlier in the day made for perfect skies and really cool clouds for sunset on the bow of the ship.

Carolease carried the OSU theme throughout the reception with the table names being streets in Columbus and pops of red on their cake and throughout that awesome sweets table. The whole reception had a fun and laid back vibe with all their favorite people from near and far. Thank you guys for having us be there it was so fun and an honor to capture it for you!!
