{Aleigha & Jon @ The Powel Crosley Estate}

Aleigha and Jon chose the gorgeous Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota for their big day!  Jon is from Toronto, Canada, and is a huge Toronto Maple Leaf hockey fan, so for Aleigha’s something blue, she had a Toronto Maple Leaf patch sewn into the bottom of her wedding dress:-)  The color palette was teal, mint, gray, and white. Even the historic marker on the property matched their colors! Aleigha is very close with her family, and did a first look with her father and four brothers in the ship room.  All of their reactions when they first saw her as a beautiful bride were priceless. Aleigha gave Jon cuff links as a gift, that had their initials and date on one and "best day ever" on the other. Just before the ceremony, they held hands with a door separating them so they couldn't see each other.  As they stood on either side of the door they told one another exactly how they were feeling in that precious moment right before their wedding. Jon’s adorable niece, Maddy, was the flower girl and as she walked down the aisle she carried a sign that read, “Uncle Jonny, here comes your bride”. During the ceremony Aleigha’s sister sang them a song while she played the guitar, it was beautiful!  After the ceremony the bridal party did their entrances into the reception and they were ALL so creative and fun!  Dinner was in a tent on the back lawn decorated with lanterns, gray linens, and teal and mint accents. The toasts were amazing and had everyone laughing.  There was a beautiful sunset, dancing on the terrace and an ice cream bar for everyone to enjoy. An amazing night for this sweet couple! Congrats Aleigha and Jon! xoxo
