{Laureen & Michael @ Carrollwood Country Club}
The other day someone asked me what I love to photograph most at each wedding. I do love all the pretty details like the dress and florals, but my absolute favorite thing is all of the authentic moments between people. I love how beautiful people are, not just on the outside, but truly the inside and what you can't describe in words only by sight. Laureen and Mike are those people. You can tell by how they look at each other and how their friends and family see them. Laureen's bridesmaids were all in light pink and her 2 daughters and sister helped her get into that gorgeous gown. Mike's son, dad, and actually all the guys helped him get ready. He was so nervous before their first look, I had to make sure he didn't turn around before Laureen was right there! When he did, it was the best. Their little flower girl was so cute, but had crocodile tears as she was riding down the aisle in the wagon. My absolutely favorite part of the day was during the vows. They had all 4 of their kids come up and each of them make a vow to each other as a family. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye there! They also did the warming of the rings and passed them along the bridal party and family for warm wishes before they put them on. The reception was draped in white with gorgeous florals. They had a custom wooden tree for everyone to sign and chocolate dipped bride and groom favors. Their cake was actually 3 different cakes in pink, silver, and gray with ruffles custom made by a very close friend of theirs. After their first dance, Laureen danced with her dad and Mike danced with his daughter. No one stopped dancing until it the minute it was over as Laureen and Mike exited under a tunnel of glow sticks. Thank you so much for having us be a part of your story it was awesome! xoxoxo
